SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention was developed to solve the technique problem related to the treatment of the articular cartilage damaged by osteoarthritis.

This invention introduces a method to achieve regeneration of the articular cartilage by chondrogenic induction through the intraarticular implantation of an artificial matrix in patients with grade I or II osteoarthritis in any joint of the human body.

The regeneration process is elicited by implanting an artificial matrix formed by chondroitin sulfate where the cloned chondrocytes are settled, where they mature and, in groups of 3 or 4, they form their own definitive hyaline matrix, duplicating the same pattern of the natural cartilage whereby the continuity of the articular surface is recovered, mobility is regained, pain is eliminated and function is recovered.
